• Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself
So, what can I say about myself?
- I learnt how to read by the age of 5.
- I have no siblings.
- In middle grade I learnt to play the violin, but my ultimate love is singing. I just love it, it’s something essential for me. People say I do it well, too. I…well, I just love the voice flowing out from somewhere deep inside.
- I’m Hungarian and currently living in Hungary, too (not for so long anymore, though), but I have family spread across Europe. Here, Belgium, Germany, Lichtenstein, the Netherlands, and that’s just right now. My cousins lived for some years in the UK, and my father always wanders, he has lived and worked in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden and Malta, as well.
- People, even in my family, always assume that I’ve wanted to be a doctor since I was a very young child, but I think that was not something conscious, it’s simply something I’ve always been interested in. What I can remember from very early, the start of primary school, is that I was yearning to become an author one day. That dream has never faded.
- I never actually believed in that so-called ‘One’, and I’m far from a romantic person, but when I started going out with my boyfriend a couple of years ago, I understood that sometimes things just click to their places. I’m still sarcastic and cynical most of the time. I’m just having somebody by my side to sooth my burning soul. Always. (
Well, that didn’t sound dramatic at all…!) - My almost 81-year-old grandma is one of my best friends.

So nice to know more about you Dora!! Hungary! Wow! what a place to be! Wish I could visit there one day! You’re moving away from Hungary? And you can play the violin! Wow 👍👏👏and I’m looking forward to reading your book one day!

I didn’t think Hungary sounds that exotic! 😅 I guess it depends on where in the world one lives 😁 yes I’m moving to Germany sometime in the beginning of next year.
Well, to read a book I wrote I should really finish one first! 😂 I love writing and I always have ideas in my head, but I’m terrible at actually following them to the end… I’m a master procrastinator😅 and somehow I always find myself being busy with something else. I really do want to find the time once to sit down and finish something. I promise that you can read it even if nobody wants to publish it!😂😉

I loved reading more about you, Dora! I also, like you, have family spread across the world, though I have never been to Hungary. I hope your dream of becoming an author becomes true 🙂

It has its advantages and disadvantages as well, doesn’t it? I think it made me very curious about the world around me. (Though I was probably born that way 😁) you’re from Bulgaria, right? I haven’t been there either, but my father and the family used to go there on holidays back when he was my age, or even a bit younger. ☺️

Yes, I’m from Bulgaria! And I do agree with you that travel and having family in different places opens up one’s eyes to the world 🙂

It certainly does! I think I wouldn’t stop traveling if I could afford all the money to do so. 🤔😏

I’ve always wanted to know how to play the violin! Mostly due to Sherlock Holmes and also because it just sounds soooo soothing and beautiful, in the right hands anyways. 😀
