‘The Escape Manual for Introverts’ by Katie Vaz

42785086. sx318 (Goodreads/Amazon)

As an introvert who often gets herself into unwanted situations that include other people, I expected this book to be very funny, and I hoped some funny angles will maybe even help me to actually get out of situations.

Well, this was a cute little book with fun illustrations, but that’s about it. Unfortunately I don’t feel like I got anything from it. There’s no real fantasy it, after about the third page it already seems repetitive and humorless, and the only thing that saves it is that it’s very short, fast to get through, and it’s better to spend your time with than nothing when you’re bored.

Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t get the point of this book at all.

I rate it 2 stars.

I got this book from Andrews McMeel Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.
